Nerf War games take no prisoners in the battle for fun

Three battles were waged at the Peoria Community Center on Sept. 22. Darts were flying, pinging off warriors and spectators alike, as youths age 5 and older took to their assigned battlefields armed with nerves and Nerf guns. The Community Center is planning on holding monthly Nerf War games, with guns and darts provided for those who cannot take their own. For schedule information and to register, call 623-773-7436 or visit the Community Center in Old Town Peoria at 8335 W. Jefferson St.
